Kinver is a Semi-traditional style narrow boat which is co-owned by a group of inland waterway's enthusiasts and is managed through the  'Ownerships' scheme.

At 58 feet in length and able to accommodate  up to six people she provides luxury cruising of the entire inland waterway system of the UK all year round.

Built by John Milburn Boats and launched on 11th July 2003,  Kinver is the 83rd boat to enter the Ownerships scheme and the third to carry the new Blue, Cream and Red colours.

Kinver's naming ceremonyThe extended front deck / bows provide a large seating and storage as well as a 200 gallon fresh water tank for extended cruising.

The saloon is a 16 foot open plan arrangement accessed through full width double folding doors making the saloon extendable onto the front deck.  Furnishings include two comfortable armchairs, L-shaped fitted seating (raised to provide full visibility) with a removable table for dining, TV, video and hi-fi.  At night the saloon can be made up into two sleeping areas for up to four guests, where the fitted seating converts into a double bed and the two armchairs convert into two single beds.  A full length dividing curtain separates the two areas.

The U-shaped galley incorporates a full sized gas cooker with oven and grill, a full sized fridge with freezer compartment, a microwave oven and extensive storage.  A side exit hatch provides extra ventilation.

The main bathroom features a corner bath suite for maximum bathing length, with integral sitting and standing shower, plus a vanity unit with hand basin and fresh water WC.  The bathroom also includes and airing cupboard.

The master cabin incorporates a permanent 6ft 6in double bed with a separately made pocket sprung mattress.  The standard 4ft bed width can be extended to 5ft.  An en-suite bathroom with fresh water WC and hand basin is also included in the master cabin.

The rear deck provides seating and standing space for the crew and steerer, plus storage space for bottled gas.  A sound proofed BMC 1.8 diesel engine is fitted below the deck.
